Internship in China

This internship program is for students who want to follow a long internship in the country of the future: China. But also employees or graduates who want to acquire international working experience can participate on this program. You will live and work in China, for a period of six months to one year. Abroad China will provide you security in an otherwise impossible adventure: we will look for an appropriate accommodation and a suitable workplace or internship place. Besides that, you can also participate on Chinese courses. The internship or workplace is the first step to your working path in China! (We are not a recruitment agency). During your internship, we will provide you with an intensive escort and we will support you in your contacts during the internship.
All the potential candidates have to be fluent in written and spoken English. The program is accessible for candidates with different backgrounds: we can offer an adequate internship for almost every study direction, in almost every market sector. Salary
Participants of this program will receive a basic local salary. Local salary can range anywhere from 2000 to 5000 RMB per month. This is usually enough to cover basic living costs such as rent and daily expenses.

Accommodations

Accommodation costs are not included in this program package. Participants will stay in the campus dormitory of Central University of Nationalities www.cun.edu.com. The room is two-beds equipped with table, closet, bathroom and shower. The cost for one bed is RMB60yuan/night includes water, electricity, heating and air-conditioning.
For those participants who choose to go to Shanghai, they will be staying in a 2-beds room apartment. The apartment is full furnished with 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen. You will have your own room and share bathroom, kitchen and living room. The cost for one-bed room is RMB3000yuan/month include the water, electricity, gas, internet access and housing-keeping.

Program Duration and Dates   

This program offers flexibility in regards to program length and time. With rolling enrollment, people can apply to come at anytime throughout the year, with the exception of Chinese holidays. (Holidays are during the 1st week of February, May, and October.)  Applicants can also choose the duration of their program. The minimum duration for this program is fourth months. Study Option   

We encourage applicants who do not speak Chinese to utilize the study option, as English is not widely spoken even in major cities in China, and learning the local language makes daily life more convenient and fulfilling.  The classes are held at a private language institute located in the Central Business District (CBD). With more than 11 years experience in teaching Chinese to foreigners the language institute enjoys an excellent reputation.  With both one-on-one and group classes, participants can enroll in beginner, intermediate or advanced classes depending upon their level. Those students who have some Chinese ability will be given a placement test before being assigned to a class.  Hourly rates and minimum amount of class hours depend on Chinese level of the applicant. For beginner to advanced levels, rates can range from $7-$10 per hour, with minimum requirement of 40-70 hours of class, respectively. Since a placement test will determine hourly rate and minimum required hours, class schedules will be determined upon arrival. Abroad China will assist each interested applicant with the enrollment process
